Barn Door Installation For Our Client in Bolwarra
Our lovely client in Bolwarra Heights had recently moved into her newly built home and had called us in for several projects which needed completing to put the finishing touches on the place and really made it a home.
Barn Door Installation For Sound Deadening
One of these finishing touches was installing barn doors to allow the media room to be closed off. This is really needed to contain the sound when someone is watching a movie.
Because the doorway we were working on is in the main hallway right as you enter the home, they needed to look great as well. For this reason we painted the doors a beautiful custom colour that our client selected.
Custom Coloured Barn Doors
This stunning shade of blue, paired with the Matt black hardware made these barn doors look fantastic and added aesthetic value as well as practical purpose. By using two barn doors that slide apart the instal looks balanced and frames the room when open, and gives privacy and sound deadening while closed, all in all a great solution.
Separating Open Space With Barn Doors
The layout of client’s home had the bedrooms down a short hallway from the open plan kitchen and dining area. We added another barn door in the same colour to this hallway to allow these spaces to be separated. The addition of this door meant the grand-kids can sleep undisturbed in the bedrooms while the party continues at the dining table.

This is just one example of how barn doors can be a practical and beautiful addition to your home. There are so many styles available from simple sleek modern designs with simple low profile frames, to the classic Z-brace styles, and everything in between.
